A Slave Who is Freed

A slave?  No, not me!

I have been set free!

No man has the keys,

to unlock these life-draining miseries.

A slave?  No not me!

To a world whose master uses death,

sickness, poverty, disease.

Who divides and separates,

you, me, and whomever he please.

A slave?  Yes, indeed!

For it was my Lord, 

who has set me free.

These bonds of love and security,

holds me here and willingly to please.

For in my Master's house I'll stay,

never desiring to run away.

A slave?  Yes, indeed!

Because I am,

A SLAVE WHO IS FREED.
